Artichoke_Snacks! Just a small stater tutorial on how to cook an artichoke. This is just a basic steam preparation, truly the most 101 of the Artichoke courses, but if it even helps one person wrap their head around the structure that is an artichoke…well then it was worth posting 🫡

(PS please don’t tell me that foods that take work to cut don’t want to be eaten….bc I’ll come chasing after you with my army of thorny pineapples 😤)

Çilbir Verde! I’ve never had çilbir (Turkish poached eggs!) before, and that’s because I’m not a huge yogurt girl. I am, however, a huge @icelandicprovisions girl, and I have the #sponsored track record to prove it. My heart wants skyr 🥹

Lemony, mustardy, twirly carrot salad with peppery beans and rice. It’s not the cabbage/rice/beans that I’ve been doing, but it’s a simple meal that’s easing me into the warmer months ☀️

It’s easy to make, perfect for prep, and while it’s simple, the flavor, well, hits 😍

My absolute favorite food in the whole wide world

My absolute favorite food in the whole wide world - Turmeric shallots on crispy/herby buckwheat & bean salad - which I’m worried might be a hard sell.

But here’s my pitch - jammy shallots are DIVINE. The perfect vegetable, slightly sweet, can hold up to heat, and are easy to cook. Boom, vegetable done. Buckwheat and roughed-up beans are made extra crispy in the oven, then tossed with cilantro, dill and a touch of red wine vinegar. It brings the balance, you don’t think you need it but you doooo.

Everything together is a textural masterpiece. It’s just my happy food. It always makes me feel amazing.

Even if you are a shallot skeptic, I hope you try this one. It’ll be linked in bio in minutes!

Half warm salad, half raw salad, all brought together with @athenosfeta . #athenospartner I’m so grateful they wanted to partner with me, because this salad concept wouldn’t have come to me without their request to make salads anything but boring (which of course, they aren’t)!

This is whole-roasted cauliflower with greeny-tahini, crisp radishes and peas, mint, basil, and of course, a pile of Athenos feta. Miso butter pastina - one of a few more comfort recipes before I dive head first into all things green and all things spring 💚

This pasta is a variation of some miso recipes you’ve seen before (creamy miso soup! Miso mac!) but that’s just because this technique is the MOST delicious. Bonus points for it also being the most simple. It’s a hybrid of a béchamel and a one-pot pasta, giving you brothy, easy and creamy, all in a Dutch oven.

And of course, my VO touches on a few things I’ve been noticing lately, within food trends and outside of them. There are always a million caveats to my chatty VOs…which is probably why I need a podcast to contain myself?? But I hope it makes my videos more of two-way conversation, instead of just a recipe machine 🙏

This quick tofu dinner is done in one pan and the perfect balance of sweet, spicy and tangy. I’m trying to expand my tofu repertoire, and I feel like this one is the best way to start. It’s simple, still a bit unique, wholesome and just really nourishing. I get excited just thinking about the leftovers 🥹
