Cinnamon-Smoked Lambrusco Cocktail
A boozy, citrusy cocktail that's perfect for cold winter months. Though the cocktail is ice-cold, the cinnamon-smoked, citrus bourbon, and lambrusco combo will warm you right up.
Equipment
- 1 cocktail shaker
Ingredients
- 1 small mandarin orange
- 3 ounces bourbon
- 4 dashes orange bitters
- 2 small cinnamon sticks
- 6 ounces Lambrusco chilled
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, squeeze in 1.5 ounces of mandarin orange juice. Add the bourbon and bitters and a large cube of ice and shake.
- Using matches or a butane torch, light the cinnamon sticks until smoking. Place a glass over each and let the smoke fill the glass. Flip the glass back only right before serving.
- Pour the mandarin bourbon into each glass. Top with a pour of the Lambrusco. Garnish with a twist from the mandarin orange, and a mandarin orange leaf if you have one. Serve cold.
