Honey Coriander Crispy Tofu Wings

Modeled after the Honey Coriander Chicken Wings at the Disney restaurant Ohana, these crispy tofu wings are in a league of their own. Sweet, savory, crispy and slightly sticky - these tofu wings are done in minutes and will have you licking your fingers - in only the best way.

Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu 15 ounces
  • ΒΌ cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp olive oil

For the sauce

  • β…“ cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon ground coriander
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400F, or if you are using an air fryer, set it at 375F.
  • Lightly press the moisture out of your tofu. Cube the tofu into 1x2’ pieces.
  • Toss the tofu in the cornstarch until evenly coated, add the 1 tsp of oil to your air fryer or oven pan.
  • Bake or air fry at 375F for 20 minutes. Flip the tofu and repeat for another 10-20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  • To make the sauce, combine the honey, soy sauce, lemon juice and cornstarch and whisk together.
  • In a skillet on medium heat, add the honey mixture, then the chili powder, coriander, and ginger and stir until combined. Continue to cook down the sauce for 2-3 minutes or until thick. Set the sauce to the side.
  • Once the tofu is crispy, toss with the sauce and serve immediately!
