Honey Burrata Toast with Lemon & Thyme

This honey burrata toast with lemon is simple but satisfying. It's rich and flavor but minimal with ingredients, one of my all-time favorites.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices whole wheat bread
  • 8 ounces fresh burrata
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon for juice and zest
  • 8 sprigs fresh thyme

Instructions

  • Toast the bread to your liking and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the burrata, honey, salt and pepper until creamy. Taste and adjust seasonings to your liking.
  • Spread a thin layer of the burrata mixture onto each piece of bread.
  • Grate lemon zest on top of each piece of toast. Then cut the lemon in half and squeeze about a teaspoon of juice onto every slice.
  • Top the slices with fresh thyme and more pepper.
  • Serve immediately :)
