Crispy Buffalo Tofu Salad with Brussel Sprouts

Crispy Buffalo Tofu

This is the easiest crispy tofu recipe on the internet. It's a recipe for no-press, no fry tofu that you can make in the oven in no time! Add some buffalo sauce (or your sauce of choice) and you have a flavor-packed meal ready to go.
Prep Time:5 minutes
Cook Time:30 minutes

Cuisine: American
Keyword: buffalo, dairy free, dinner, lunch, spicy, tofu, vegan, vegetarian
Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu lightly pressed and blotted dry
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup Buffalo sauce I like Primal Kitchens but the brand is up to you!

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425F.
  • Cube the tofu into 1' cubes. Lightly dust each piece in the cornstarch. Since the tofu was not fully pressed, it should still have enough liquid to help the cornstarch adhere without anything else.
  • On a foil-lined baking sheet, evenly spread the tofu cubes, making sure none are touching. Bake at 425F for 20 minutes and then flip and bake for 5-10 more minutes.
  • Take them out of the oven, toss in the buffalo sauce and bake for 5 more minutes.
  • Let cool and serve!

Notes

These don't keep very well in the fridge, so I recommend planning to use them when you make them! I have another tofu recipe that is much better for making ahead which I will link in the blog post.
