Perfect Pizza Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 large can of whole San Marzano tomatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 large garlic cloves sliced
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1-2 sprigs fresh basil stems removed, chiffonade cut
- 1 tsp kosher salt plus more to taste
Instructions
- Pour the tomatoes and all their juices in a bowl. Use your hands or scissors to gently break the tomatoes apart into small pieces.
- Add in the olive oil, chopped garlic, oregano and basil. Stir and add the salt. Stir again and season to taste with more salt as needed.
- Use as you need it!
